Biography

Lisa Trottier is the Coordination Assistant at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, and a Project Assistant to the AI + Society Initiative. 

In those capacities, she provides general administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Centre’s leadership and the Initiative, as well as core initiatives, projects, and events. 

Prior to joining the Centre, Lisa Trottier was an administrative coordinator for the Canadian Red Cross where she supported international and national projects for the humanitarian organization. She has previously interned abroad in Hangzhou, China and researched different developmental economic trends. 

Lisa Trottier studied International Economics and Globalization at the University of Ottawa. While having a diverse background in social sciences ranging from global economics to educational policy, she continues to be driven by her passion for social equity. Passionate about agricultural economic policy and development, she hopes to see a world where we improve social equity and justice through agriculture. 

She speaks English, French, and Japanese, and is currently learning Spanish.
