On October 4, 2013 the Centre for Law Technology and Society held a conference to launch The Copyright Pentalogy (University of Ottawa Press, 2013). Per the request of many participants, as well as for the convenience of those who couldn’t attend, the speakers’ presentations are now available online.

On August 12, 2013, Sessional Professor Anne Uteck successfully defended her doctoral dissertation “Reconceptualizing Spatial Privacy for the Internet of Everything” at the Faculty of Law.
Professor Jennifer Chandler has received $155,000 in funding as a co-leader of the Law and Ethics Group within the Canadian National Transplant Research Program (CNTRP). The funding will allow her to conduct ethical and legal research related to organ and tissue donation and transplantation over the next five years. She will be able to support graduate and JD students interested in working with her in this area.
