Professor Michael Geist has been awarded the 2013 Impact Connection Award by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), which recognizes efforts to facilitate the exchange of research knowledge within and beyond the academic community.
On October 4, 2013 the Centre for Law Technology and Society held a conference to launch The Copyright Pentalogy (University of Ottawa Press, 2013). The First-Year Intern Program was developed to provide University of Ottawa law students with financial assistance, to cultivate mentoring relationships, and to offer an early opportunity to work with faculty from the Centre for Law, Technology and Society on current research initiatives.
