The Centre for Law, Technology and Society and the Law and Technology Student Society invite you to join them for a lively discussion on freedom of press and surveillance in the wake of police surveillance of Patrick Lagacé and other journalists in Québec and Canada.

    VP of the National Capital Region chapter, Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ)
  • Tamir Israel,
    Staff Lawyer at the Canadian Internet Policy & Public Interest Clinic, University of Ottawa
  • Dr. Teresa Scassa,
    Canada Research Chair in Information Law, University of Ottawa

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Michael Geist, the Canada Research Chair in Internet and e-Commerce Law.
