On March 22, 2024, the Centre for Law, Technology and Society at the University of Ottawa hosted the fourth edition of the Copyright Policy Moot organized with Canadian Heritage and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.

Teams from University of Toronto, McGill University, Université de Montréal, and the University of Ottawa defended policy proposals before public servants from Canadian Heritage and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, including from the Copyright Board of Canada.
